Preventable Medical Errors
So much of my legal practice involves representing victims who have been injured or have died due to preventable medical errors. This report issued by the Institute of Medicine which is discussed in this excerpt from the article published in the New England Journal of Medicine is an interesting assessment of patient safety - or lack thereof - among U.S. healthcare providers.
