
Glenn Announces Collaboration with Allman, Spry, Leggett and Crumpler, P.A.
Charleston. Trial lawyer E. Vernon F. Glenn has been named "Of Counsel" to the law firm Allman, Spry, Leggett and Crumple, P.A., headquartered in Winston-Salem, N.C. Glenn will practice in their Litigation Department and will be involved in all types of civil litigation and business torts. He is licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina and will maintain his private practice in the Charleston area which focuses on serious personal injury, wrongful death and medical malpractice.
A practicing attorney for more than 30 years, Glenn is board certified in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He has also earned the highest ratings ("A/V" for legal skills and ethics, diligence and reliability) from the Martindale Hubbell National Law Directory and included in The Best Lawyers in America and Who’s Who’s in America. Glenn is certified by the Professional Trial Lawyers Institute and has been awarded Advocate standing from the National Trial College at Harvard Law School. He is also a member of the peer-selected American Board of Trial Advocates.
Glenn earned his undergraduate degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1972 and was awarded his Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest School of Law in 1975. In addition to writing extensively on the practice of tort law, he has lobbied nationally for citizens’ rights and the jury system, and testified before the U.S Senate on consumer and aging issues. He frequently lectures on trial practice and medico-legal issues.
He is the secretary of the SC Bar Association’s Trial and Appellate committee and past ethics chair of the SC Trial lawyers Association. Attorney Glenn also holds membership in the NC Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Institute for Public Justice. He served three terms on the University of North Carolina Educational Foundation Board of Directors and currently serves on the University of North Carlina Parents’ Council Executive Committee.
